Tunic

My friend has a love for flowy tunics, so i made her one.

this was sooo easy to make, just measure yourself to see how loose u want the tunic to be, and how long.  then cute out fabric in a square, sew the front and back pieces together at the shoulder inside out, then sew the sides according to how tight u want it to be, and sew the line on the right side on fabric to create the "wings" of the tunic.

the back of the tunic. for her tunic, i used a green silky fabric to the sides in the back to be a bit more unique then just black.

Halloween Costumes of 2010

For Halloween last year, my friend had this idea of us being pumpkin and squash (haha original right?)  But she didnt wanna be a big round pumpkin, but a sexy/cute pumpkin, so i made us costumes with stretchy fabric

A friend's birthday was coming up and I wanted to make her a tote bag that she could carry all of her binders in (in style too) :)

I had some old jeans lying around so I thought I could upcycle them!

This is how it turned out

Now, let's see how i made it.

Sewing Box

I bought a Papier-mâché box at hobby lobby and thought i could use it to store my sewing accessories.  so i glued the fabric to the box, made a knob on top, and changed the lid a little.

Plastic Grocery Bags Storage

Aren't you tired of all the plastic grocery bags lying around the house? I am. So i made a storage for those little pesky bags!

Simple Sewing Machine Tote

Using the same fabric that I made my sewing machine cover with to make this tote, I also made a tote for my sewing machine

This is how it looks finished

Let's see how I made it.

Here I have all the fabric and lining cut out, bias tape sewn

sewn all the pieces at the bottom, then sewed the sides

made the bottom sturdier with cardboard and lining

back of the tote, with two big pockets, pockets on the sides as well

front of the tote with three pockets

Sewing Machine Cover

To match my mug organizer, I made a sewing machine cover with the same fabric

Here is the finished product

I simply sewed all the pieces together and sewed on bias tape

Mug Organizer

This organizer fits inside a coffee mug.  there are plenty of pockets outside to hold sewing tools.
